Hello

My name is Megan and I am an Elementary Education major and Political Science minor at Loyola University Maryland. I was born and raised in Haddonfield, NJ where I was fortunate enough to attend all my years of schooling through the Haddonfield School District. My love for school began in Mrs. Chism's kindergarten class and has only grown in the last fifteen years. My years as a student in Haddonfield came to an end in 2020 when I graduated from Haddonfield Memorial High School. I headed to Baltimore, MD to attend Loyola University Maryland where I was able to continue my greatest passion - education. Because of my love for schooling and inspirational teachers, choosing this path was inevitable!

This website was created as part of my RE 219: Processes and Acquisition of Literacy course. This literacy autobiography serves as an acknowledgment of all of the wonderful people who have been a part of forming my literacy journey and have inspired me to pursue a career in education. Additionally, it offers an inside look at my introduction to literacy through numerous methods and works of literature.
